This well-known Italian restaurant is operated by the third generation of the DeFlippo family and was originally built as a house by carriage-makers Brown and Bronson in the 1870s. Open as a restaurant since 1946, they offer an extensive selection of Italian specialties like chicken parmigiana, baked lasagna, a long list of pastas, and spaghetti with chicken in the sauce, a DeFlippos' original. The menu also features seafood dishes, steaks, grilled chicken and prime rib, as well as more easy-going fare such as pizza, wings, finger foods and sandwiches. They've also prepared a children's menu. Desserts, prepared from scratch by pastry chef Nancy DeFlippo, include tiramisu, cream puffs, cannoli, carrot cake and cheesecake. - Christine A. Smyczynski
I dined there yesterday. I ordered the eggplant parm. as I often do at Italian restaurants. It was the worst that I have ever had. The eggplant was sheved potato chip thin and heavly breaded to try to make it look like normal size slices, and covered with sauce. I could hardly taste the eggplant. After eating some of the breaded sauce, my wife and I left over half of our meal. It was my first and last time there. Total rip off is the way I see it.
i think this is the best restaurant in lockport friendly respestful owners that make you feel welcomed all preivous owners and the present owners are the best i would applaud them and so will anyone that goes there for dinner enjoy
The food is great, service is great.i had my wedding rehearsal dinner there and i was very satisfied with everything. Some of us had the smoked chicken and it was great.I asked everyone how their meal was and it a resounding great heard from all.Another thing that impressed me was the owner and chef checked to see how my exsperiance was.Loved it and plan on going again.
My son and I went for dinner and was seated out on the porch. They had a large party of women in this same area and it was so loud out there that it hurt our ears. This caused a very unpleasant dining experience. I found the sauce on the spaghetti just average, the waitress was very attentive. For the amount of food that you recieved I felt it was overpriced.
