John's Pizza & Subs, Grand Island

Being a life long Grand Island resident, I can say I've tried my fair share of pizzerias in the area. And because of that, I can honestly says John's is the best by far. John's pizza is simply top notch, with their sweet sauce and gracious portions (make sure to try their thin crust, it's excellent). And if you aren't in the mood for their delicious pizza, you can try one of their submarine sandwiches which are just as good, if not better. Typically known for their Chicken Finger Subs, the Godfather sub is another excellent tasting alternative. Rounding out their menu is their wide variety of salads, appetizers, and my personal favorite chicken wings. They use some of the biggest wings I've ever seen with sauces comparable to Buffalo mainstays Anchor Bar or Duffs. As soon as you walk into John's, you'll be welcomed with a smile and a greeting thanks to their amazing customer service that actually cares about their customers happiness. When my family visits Grand Island the first thing we do is eat at Johns, we also visit Johns the day we leave becouse we cannot get food like this where we live. If you visit Grand Island you must visit Johns you will not be dissapointed with anything on the menu.

Best chicken finger sub I've ever had for sure! Owner is funny as hell and theres always quick service even on the weekends. Highly recommended!

Great food with the fastest friendliest service around. Not to mention all the employees are extremely good looking.

Don't order the Pizza from here. It is not edible. Make sure any cooked subs are cooked and your order is correct before you leave the building!

Tried the rest and John's is truly the BEST! It doesn't matter if its pizza, subs, wings, fingers, salads, tacos or finger foods. Just try their stuff you can tell everthing they serve is from good quality ingredients. No need to go anywhere else everytime I order its awesome!

terrible place. i was told an hour for delivery and i did not receive my food for over 2 hours after i had ordered it. therefore, since it sat in some guy's car for forever, my subs were soggy as were the wings and the pizza was cold. the staff is rude and unwilling to offer compensation. do not go here for pizza, if you live in the buffalo/niagara region there's a zillion better places to eat!

I use to eat at this place almost everyday when my mom use to work at Centry 21 right next door. It's the best I have ever had. I miss there finger sandwhiches.I only wish that they could deliver to SC....LOL
