Tony Rome's Globe Hotel & Restaurant
The oldest business in East Aurora, this restaurant and former stagecoach stop operates in its original location. It first opened its doors in 1824 and was frequented by the most prestigious of notables like Presidents Millard Fillmore and Grover Cleveland. Fillmore practiced law locally in East Aurora before he went on to become the 13th president of the United States. The exterior has changed little from then in the 1860's, and the interior features an exposed beam ceiling in the dining room, a tin ceiling in the bar, and a remarkable twin fireplace. Mostly noted for its barbecue dishes and ribs, the restaurants offers mouthwatering selections including steak, seafood and a fish fry seven days a week. - Christine A. Smyczynski

Tony Rome's Globe Hotel is my favorite place to dine in East Aurora. It is also the favorite for all my family and friends and they always request that we meet there when we get together. The food is always fresh and delicious. The menu offers a wide choice of options; everyone can order something to suit their preferences. The Saturday night specials are terrific! Their Mother's Day and Easter brunches are fantastic. The daily lunch specials offer variety and great food at reasonable prices.
The wait staff is very friendly, efficient and responsive to patrons' requests. After frequenting the establishment for over 25 years I can highly recommend Tony Rome's without hesitation.
I am loving Tony Rome's Globe Hotel in East Aurora. We have been patrons for about 5 years. The food is always absolutely fresh and delicious. The prices are actually better than anyone in town. Ribs, Fish Fry, Salads. Dinner for Two on Saturdays...awesome :)
After dining there for many years, and always had very good food, after saturdays dinne, it will be hard to return. My wife and I both ordered sea food platters at 22.95 each, shrimp overcooked, scallops were terrible, fish and salad were good, but after charging an additional 2.30 fot the blue cheese dressing all I could say is SO LONG.
For anyone who has not been to Tony Rome's Globe Hotel in East Aurora in awhile, you need to give it another chance. We are regulars there and the food is the freshest and best available. The prices are excellent, it is clean and the service was awesome. This restaurant is continually evolving and worth the trip
the food is very bad. had fish and it was underdone even though i told the waitress to make sure it was well done. i asked to have the skin removed and it wasn't. the vegetables were way overcooked and tasteless. i hate paying top dollar for bad food. i won't go back there.
First off the service was horrible, second if I can count the number of fries on my plate this place cannot be good. I ordered the rueben which the meat was tough and too top it off I was so sick to my stomach the rest of the night... I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!
