We had the bad misfortune to choose the Miss Batavia Diner for sunday breakfast last week. We were treated rudely by a very loud waitress as we entered. She would not allow my feeble mother to sit where she wished, she yelled at us so loudly that all the other patrons stared at us. Another waitress waited on us, or we would have dragged my poor mother out then and there. The loud waitress appeared at the end of breakfast to once again be shout at us. There are too many good and friendly restaurants in Batavia, to ever choose this place to eat.
The place is spotless. The food is great. The prices are right. And the service is friendly and fast. What else can you look for in a restaurant?
I've been a regular for more than 15 years and I haven't been let down once! The only thing I'd change is that they'd can and sell their homemade soups! The waitresses know you by name and half the time I don't even have to order my meal, the cooks see me and get it started before the slip goes back to them.
As for the comment below, they've been wearing shorts since I started going in, if it was a health department issue, wouldn't it have stopped by now?
