This was my second visit to Frank and Rosa's restaurant and we plan on making it an annual pilgrimage. I live in Canada and visit friends in the Oneida area every now and then. So last night I treated them to dinner :)
One of my guests had the eggplant (which she said was awesome) and her husband and I had our regular spaghetti dinners: he had sausage; I had meatballs. I think it was Miss Piggy who said never eat anything heavier than you can lift, but I attempted a valiant effort at just that.
None of the 3 of us could finish our HUGE delicious portions, and we all left with full bellies, leftovers, and BIG smiles. Rosa, bless her heart, donated a ziti to the Canuck (me), which was VERY sweet of her AND I got (and gave) a BIG HUG. Thank you again, Rosa :) I have enough leftover spaghetti for 3 more dinners !!......oh and YES the garlic bread YUMMMMMMM.....warm and soft (similar to how I felt when I left Rosa's) LOL.
All of the employees are smiling and super efficient and friendly ! The establishment reminded me of a wonderful Italian family eatery up by Brunswick New Jersey which had the same friendly ambience and GREAT food.
I love this place and will go back.
