My sister in law recently got married here, it was a disaster! For starters, when we arrived, the bridal ready room was like 80 degrees. I understand that it's an old building and it is sometimes hard to get ac to the second storey, but they could have put a fan on, or at least provided us with ice water. Secondly, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned or stocked. Third, we had to search for the manager any time we had a question or needed something. The wedding was in the garder, which was actually quite pretty. But the chairs that had been set out didn't match, most had holes, some had been taped. The bride had requested a certain amount of chairs be set out, based on the number of guests the RSVP'd, but there were at least 8 guests standing because they didn't put out the number she requested. Also, there are no outside speakers or sound system, so if you have a DJ to provide your music, chances are it won't be heard. The decorations that the bride's family requested be put up inside the hall weren't, we had to find a staff member since the manager was no where to be found. At least the hall was air conditioned. Dinner started an hour late, which was mostly due to pictures, but a side dish was forgotten until about halfway through dinner, and when it did finally get brought out, it wasn't what the bride and groom had ordered. The chair covers, which were basically required because the chairs didn't match each other, were stained and not pressed, some didn't fit the chairs properly. There was no seconds, because the second the last table had gotten their dinner, the plates were taken away and the buffet was torn down. After the party, the bride's family was told not to worry about taking any of the decorations or anything home, they could pick it up at a later time. Well, after a month of trying to get a hold of the manager, we were finally able to go get our stuff, but when we got there, they had lost it. After they found it, we went back to get it, to find that the leftover cake was missing. Seems they threw it out. I would not recommend this place to anyone, EVER.
* There were two other weddings that took place during our reception, since we had the back room closest to the garden, everytime someone opened the doors our music blared and disrupted the other weddings. *

Kudos to the chef! He too was a godsend...And most of all Barb, Thank you for your personal & professional with which you treated us. Dibbles was a beautiful place to have a wedding and reception. I am so glad my grandaughter chose the Garden Room and used the gazebo for the ceremony. It was picture perfect!! The decorated tables looked lovely. The staff did a praise worthy job and were very accommidating. The food was DELICIOUS-hats off to the chef1 the manager/event coordinator relieved lots of tension and was very welcoming. I highly recommend Dibbles Inn to everyone.
Please Brides dont do your wedding here! The food was gross at best, the chair covers disgusting, the carpet and plates were dirty! The owner was rude and unprofessional. I would never go back, such a nice building and with the right owner and chef it could be a really nice expeience...such a shame!
went there thanksgiving and we were very dissappointed. number 1, the woman on the phone who was the owner, said traditional thanksgiving buffett, ok but no mashed potatoes! they had scalloped potatoes instead. who heard of no mashed potatoes on thanksgiving! the desserts were frozen solid and horrible! everything was cold and its a shame because we had a party there two years ago and it was great. all in all this place STUNK! we should have went to the Chesterfield.
I wanted to thank you and your amazing staff for such a perfect evening for Odyssey s Annual Dinner Meeting. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you again for all you did to make the evening such a success! Thanks again for everything
Just got married at Dibbles and can not say enough good things. We had 240 guests and received nothing but great reviews from them. The room was beautiful, the food was unbelievable, and the staff was great. Worth every penny!!!!!!!!!
