I had a good time. The outside looks horrible but the inside is really nice. The servers were extremely nice to me, my friend, and my small baby. The food was excellent. There hours of operation are a little weird but I find that to be true in most places in Syracuse. I would definetly go back and bring a new a new friend. Order spring rolls!!
Let me be clear, I'm giving Thai Flavor 5 stars in relation to the Thai food situation in the Syracuse area, which is not good. I reluctantly tried Thai Flavor, but was pleasantly surprised. The prices are much better then they were with the previous ownership and the food quality and portions were also better. I was skeptical about the info that the chef was brought in from Thailand, but the dishes we ordered were indeed authentic. I hope this place stays in business because it is definitely better than many of the popular Thai restaurants in town.
It is really good ! good services, foods, decoration, etc. Overall, it is really good. I went there one time because I just wanted to try thai food from different places, so, i just got in there. After that day, I went back again !! and I will definately go back there agian. It's excellent !! You should try it !!
My experience at the Little Thai restaurant on Erie Blvd E, Syracuse was not a very pleasant one mostly because our server was really rude. Firstly, we had to wait for while before being seated even though there were only a few tables occupied. Then the waiter gave us a lecture on how we should answer whenever he asks a question. That was in response to a little pause I took to before I ordered my drink, as I was looking for the list of beverages in menu and I couldn't find one. When he brought our food and no plates were provided. It only after 10 minutes he brought some plates that we could start eating. On the whole any courtesy on the part of the server was missing and we felt as if they were doing us a great favor by giving us food. Although the food was okay but nothing exceptional. There are many Thai restaurants in Syracuse which serve decent/ good thai food and provide much better service for the same value.
I do not recommend anyone this place unless you don't want to have a good time.
I moved here six months ago and my boyfriend and I love trying new foods and going out to eat. We came to this thai place and have since been coming back over and over. The food is AMAZING. Everytime we go we try to get something different and no matter what we get, we always love it. The appetizers are delicious and they have a huge variety of teas.
The atmosphere is very romantic and peaceful in the evenings.. it's a bit dark in the place, but we like it like that. The service is quick and wonderful. We even went once with friends and stayed for a couple of hours and they didn't mind us hanging out at our table after dinner. We ordered coffee and tea while we talked and the restaurant told us it was on the house!
It is a little pricey, with the meals between 9 to 15 dollars on average, but it's well worth it.
