Love the atmosphere. The sushi was ok, I have definitely had better. The restaurant is very understaffed and therefore the service left something to be desired. We were told not to order more rolls after the first round, as we may not get them in a timely manner. It was an ok experience until we received our check. Everything was overpriced, and my card was charged twice. After calling 8 times and getting a generic answering machine (did I have the right number?), I finally got ahold of someone who corrected the problem. Won't be back anytime soon.

If you are a true sushi fan, this is the place for you. Yuske Honda is the real deal, native of Japan and trained there. Don't bother going if you aren't prepared to wait for your food and expect service to be the #1 priority. AUTHENTIC sushi is the priority here, and the food is well worth waiting for. Sit at the sushi bar and you'll get a great understanding of the detail which goes into his food. Yuske will make any dish you can dream of; the menu is only the starting point for a great food experience. I love this place and go as often as my budget permits!

I love the Nabeyaki Udon, and the Buckwheat noodle soup. The Salmon Teriyaki is excellent, as are all the different sushi types I've tried. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere where you can easily talk, drink a glass of wine and enjoy your company along with the great food. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I went to try Kyokos and we never even got to the meal! The service was terrible! We waited in the front to be seated for 15 mins looking for anyone. We left and ate at Tokyo Soul.

I just moved to the area and this is the best sushi that I have had. The service left something to be desired but the food was excellent and the sushi chef made a requested dish that wasnt on the menu. This will definately be my sushi resturant

This resturant is our favorite Japanese place in the area. The atmosphere is very private, romantic and truly authentic. The food is excellent and very filling. Teriacki chicken, or the beef are excellent--the best ever. Salad is a little interesting-very salty. Miso soup great. We have been there so many times and recommend it to everyone. Sushi bar looked very appealing-not our taste, but others seemed to enjoy. Another plus is that there are coupons in the Taste of Syracuse book-buy one get one ($10 value). Even if you want to try it--use the coupon. For 2 of us with appet., sodas, and 2 entrees, bill came to $30 with coupon. Not bad. This place is highly overlooked by many. Would recommend to everyone!!!
