I've been getting Nick's pizza since they opened, the last few times I wanted pizza though I went to The Pies Guys... Nick's pizza is pretty good but last night I ordered other food and I was sorely dissapointed. I ordered one meatball sub, one philly cheesteak sub and one order of wings. It came up to over 22 and I spend 26 with the tip for the driver, seeing as I live less than a mile away.
I asked for medium wings and I received overcooked flavorless wings. I am sensitive to heat and there was nothing medium about them... The meatball sub (12 inches) wasn't toasted like I asked and had 3 meatballs on it cut in half to make 6 and barely any sauce. The steak sub had barely any meat on it and wasn't toasted like I asked.
If you want a decent pizza for a good price go there when they have the special. I have heard alot of gossip about that place from ex workers but I still went there because I thought the pizza was decent. I don't think I'll be spending my money there anymore.
Ehhh... just another mediocre pizza in Syracuse.
Very watery, tasteless sauce. Cheese on the greasier side. Toppings fresh (not canned), but old. Crust cooked well with good texture, but lacking in taste.
I'm happy I didn't pay full price, Monday special pricing meant I paid $8.74 for my large pizza with one topping (didn't know this when I called, only when I was rung up at the counter).
I LOVE THE PIZZA I LOVE NICK AND I LOVE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THEIR. THE PIZZA IS THE BEST. THE PIZZA SHOP IS VERYVERYVERY CLEAN AND THE WINGS ARE 10 TIMES BETTER THAN OIP GO BY ONE DAY AND TRY THE PIZZA AND WING SPEACIAL FOR A GOOD PRICE
Okay, I can get over the fact that they cut their pizza wrong (In half then in strips) were it not for the fact that is is very inconsistant. One day the pizza is delicious, and the next time, it is burnt.
Same with the wings, sometimes they are great, and other times they go right to the garbage.
Sandwiches are awful, the meat isn't fresh.
Delivery is inconsistant too - they tell you it will be 45 minutes and an hour and a half later it's at your door but it's wrong?
I've heard from friends that they were treated rudly by the owner, other than listening to them yell at eachother, I myself have not experienced that. They have always been very polite and friendly.
In summation - they need to be nicer and consistant!
