Awful is putting it nicely. I ate there the other weekend, and honestly, it was the absolute most horrible food I have ever been served at ANY restaurant. There were flies in the bread, the meat tasted worse than McDonald's meat, and nothing was cooked anywhere near the right temperatures. I would NEVER go anywhere near that place again. Trust me, stay away. The dinner costs the same as a nice restaurant, I was hoping for some actually good food. I was apalled.

The Mountaineer is a family owned and operated restaurant in the resort town of Lake George, NY. The food is excellent. The Godfather Special is a great dish. They offer many different types of food, but the Italian stuff is the best,
