Best Italian in Lake George. You can never go wrong with Mario's. However, it doesn't quite deserve 5 stars because if you dropped this place somewhere in the Jersey/New York City area it would only be a little better than average.

Italian Goodness

Many of the locals come here to get their Italian flavored and spicy goodness dishes they love. They offer a nice friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere.

Attentive service and personable service. Waitress was on her game and seemed to really enjoy what she was doing. So nice to have someone with personality and confidence serving you. Food was very good, and I thought the overall value of my meal was excellent. One of the highlights of my stay in Lake George. Wish the rest of the trip was the same!

I WAS GETTING ENGAGED TO MY GIRLFRIEND ON 5/9/08 AND I SET UP EVERYHTING THROUGH THEM. EVERYTHING WENT OFF WITH NO PROBLEMS. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I HAVE BEEN THERE AND I HAVE BEEN TREATED VERY WELL. IT IS BY MOST THE BEST PLACE TO EAT FOR ANYONE. AND FROM THIS DAY ON MY GIRL FRIEND AND I WILL VISIT THERE ON MAY 9TH OF EVERY YEAR. THEY MAKE YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. Awesome Food!

This restaurant is great and probably has the best Italian food I've ever had. We started with the sausage-stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Yum! Warm bread was served with your choice of butter or a fresh garlic and olive oil dipping sauce. This dipping sauce was incredible! I don't know what they did to it but it was super. The dinner was wonderful too. I had an Italian sampler which included chicken parmesan, stuffed shells and pasta and meatballs w/marinara. The person I went with had chicken saltimboca. This was a perfectly done chicken breast with prosciutto and mozzarella on spinach. All this was cooked in marsala wine. Yum! Highly recommended!
