Applebee's, Saratoga Springs

Applebees has come a long ways in the past few years. Their food is much better. I love their Pub Chips!

Last night my girlfriend and I decided to take a trip to applebee's. We got in with no problem, got our appetizers fairly quick....then the wait was on like it has always been here. First the waitress came out to tell me they had no more Penne left so I sided to go with Fettuchini, we are waiting for over a half hour for our food by now, then the waitress comes out to say shes sorry for the wait yadda yadda yadda I then asked if she even knew where our food was because we were going to see a movie, she exclaimed she didn't. I couldn't believe this I asked for the check to pay for our appetizers but she insisted that she would take care of it. This isn't my only bad experience with this place- their service is horrible everytime, I guess I just thought things would change and didn't.

A family-friendly place with good food at reasonable prices. Our kids love it; it is now a family tradition to have birthday dinners there. They always give the kids balloons when we leave. Applebee's is kinda like TGIF Lite. Same junkyard kitsch decor. But a little less of a yuppie pick-up joint.
