Len & Jo's, Port Jervis

Len and Joes is by FAR the best pizza I have ever had the privilage of eating. I now live in Fort Lauderdale, FL but born in Port Jervis, NY. I love my pizza's and have had pizza's from NY, to NC, CA, FL......bar none Len and Joe's is the best. Most of my family lives up in NY and whenever they come down we have them bring the freeze dried pizza down so we can enjoy. Any employees at Len and Joes will probably know my sister and brother up there but becides that if you want some great tasting pizza from the crust to the sauce to the cheese, Len and Joe's is the place to grub!!!!

Simply the best Pizza that I have ever eaten...and I've eaten plenty. I would love to have the recipe. I'm surprised that they haven't marketed it. It is very different and made in rectangular pans that have been in use forever. The crust is very thin and the pans are greased which helps crisp up the crust. It's worth a trip to try the pizza at Len and Jo's in Port Jervis, NY.

The three best tasting pizza's in the entire worls are Len and Jo's in Port Jervis, NY, Johns Pizza on Bleeker Street in NYC and Pepe's Pizza in NewHaven CT. I live 40 miles from Len and Jo's and generally eat in but order 2 - 4 pizza's, half cooked and un sliced to go. At hoe, I heat a rectangular pan to 500 degrees and place the half cooked pie on the hot oven pan to finish cooking. They come out fresh as if you were eating at their restauranr. I have met no one in 40 years taht does not agree that Len and Jo's pizza is outstanding. Personal preference? No toppings. Go plain cheese, a mix of Mozz ans white American. Crust is cracker-like thin and crunchy. This place is a must do for the afficianado or novice alike.

I grew up in the area and moved away many years ago. Every time I visit I MUST have a Len & Joe's Pizza!

Interesting place with pizza prepared in jelly roll pans. Pies can be ordered with a mix of mozzarella and american cheese which works better than it might sound. Toppings don't smother the pie which is a plus for me. Good cold draft beer and reasonably priced. The rest of the menu seems ordinary. You should give it a try.

I have taken many people to Len & Jo's and all of us have felt the same. The food is tasty and the prices are fair. We love it here.

Sorry, I live in the area too, and I have to agree with wild, their review is pretty much right on the money about the food there. I've had a few different dishes from there and none were what I'd call outstanding or even good. The pizza is thin and square with a cardboard like crust and a very bland pizza sauce.
