Giovanni's Inn, Wurtsboro

This is a great place to eat. Staff is always friendly, and the food is always fresh. During the summer some of the veggies they serve are right from their garden (I know for a fact the eggplant is from the garden) Good amount of food for the price. If you enjoy good food and a good atmosphere this is a place to come and visit!

I haven't had Great authentic Italian food like this since I moved up here two years ago. I had lost hope until I ate at Giovanni's Inn. From the outside, it had looked like a regular house so I didn't go there. My father had come to visit so I saw an ad and figured we'd give it a try. I had no idea what I was missing! My father was raving about it as well. It was a little more expensive than I had expected, but it was worth every penny.

I can't eat Italian food anywhere else! I got spoiled here.

I love there food! The zup a de pec outstanding- lots of seafood & pasta usually 2 meals for me. The husband loves the chicken fran sei. They accomadate the kids, Raviollis or even chicken fingers w/ FF. No pizza here. A lot of food for the value. Some say it's expensive, i don't think it's anymore expensive then other restaurants. If your looking for hamburgers this is not for you. There menu is extensive with appetizers,Pastas, Seafood, Steak and specials etc. Then again we go for the setting; in the mountains, they have two horses (you can see them depends on where your seated) they have a bar and two wood stoves for the winter months. down side: Open at 4 ish Thur-Sunday Evenings only. and bathroom stalls are small.
