Historic Village Diner, Red Hook

We went here last weekend....a basic looking, old fashioned diner with OUTSTANDING food. Very resaonably priced, the service was excellent. We had the burger, the silk sandwich, and a chicken burger....all of it was amazing. highly recommended. A no frills, fun, old fashioned diner with excellent food and service. The town of Red Hook is also fun to visit, as well as the neighboring town of Rhinebeck.

If you are in the area definitely stop here for a meal. Cosy friendly atmosphere, great home cooked food and good prices. Good place for family dining (they are very accommodating with high chairs!). We love it!

True authentic diner with delicious food (burgers are to die for) and let's not forget their famous chocolate silk pie! Tends to be very busy because the locals know this is THE place to eat!

Excellent diner! Prices are fair considering the portions, which are huge. It is standard diner fair, The Longhorn is a great entree, the burgers & the Reubens are also great. Always a regular stop when we are hungry in Red Hook.

if you like diners you'll think this one is okay kinda small inside, but atmosphere has got a good feel to it plenty of parking, booth and counter seating menu offers standard diner fare and prices are okay near all services in red hook, and service is quick & good
