Hamilton Inn, Millerton

I made reservations at the Hamilton Inn restaurant based solely on how it looked from outside, and its proximity to the New York/Connecticutt border. This restaurant combines charm, elegance, and comfort with wonderfully presented and truely delicious food. The atmoshphere is lovely, very romantic. The waitstaff is very accomodating and professional, and we never felt rushed. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to linger over your coffee or second glass of wine. I recommend sitting outside on the large front porch on a beautiful afternoon or evening.
