My officemates and I have now all decided that despite being across the street we will never go back due to the frequent rude service and inconsistent quality (e.g. burnt pizza, mediterranean salads covered in pepperoncini water with no warning, sand grit in lettuce..) Whenever we politely bring the food back we re faced with rudeness and no apologies.
Today was a minor example:I asked for a plain slice to go and three cookies. The counter person asked if I wanted a box or plates and a bag. I said the latter. She asked me if I was going to eat the pizza right away. I said yes as I was just a block away. She handed me two slices sitting atop 3 plates. I said I couldn t drive like that. The response was a an annoyed huff and 2 slices in a box. And as I start eating the pizza I feel a slight .
I once the cook why they always put meat in the chowders. His annoyed response was, all chowders have meat, that is the definition. As a vegetarian who knows her food, I can tell you that is not correct. In summary - they act like they are doing you a favor, rather than being grateful that someone choose to use their services.
You want good local pizza with very friendly, family service and all around better prices, go a few blocks south to Village Pizza.
