This place is HORRIBLE! We decided to check it out because we had not yet visited Rositas and were curious...Walking in we saw all of the awards they have gotten in past years so we thought it must be good...BOY WERE WE WRONG!
SERVICE sucked! Waitress pretty much forgot about us. Took forever to get our drinks, food & bill. I was charged a Whopping 5 bucks for 2 diet cokes my husband had no alcohol in his margarita. Salsa had no taste to it. WAY OVERPRICED!!!!!!! I ordered veggie fajitas was charged 15 bucks and got a plate of carrots & zucchini!??!! I was charged for extra tortillas as they only gave me 2. TOTAL RIPOFF! My husband got a chicken chimichanga (17 Whopping bucks) and said Taco Bell is better than this... PLATES WERE SMALL for the PRICE!! e expected to have a takeout bag for leftovers for tomorrow to bring home with us but that wasn't the case.
NOONE should be taxed for cheese rice and beans unless maybe the taste is out of this WORLD.. WHICH this place wasn't at all. I have lived in Arizona for over 6 years and know my Mexican food. If you want some tasty Mexican Fare in Kingston go to Armadillo Grill right down the road. The place is where it is at for taste and price and service. This Rosita's joint is lucky we have a sense of humor. The sooner this place goes out of business the better off KIngston will be!
The food is superb. Large selection of Apps. Quesadillas Poblanas (Shrimp and Black Beans) and Mexican Shrimp Cocktail are our favorites.
Dinner menu is very extensive from Organic Steak that just melts in your mouth to the Sea Food Specials. The also have the more traditional combinations and 4 different types of Fajitas.
But the food is only half of the dining experience, the other half is the view of the Rondout Creek. You can seat by the water and experience a very relaxed atmosphere. Try their fresh fruit Margaritas and you might never leave.
