Terrible. The atmosphere was awful. I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me. The awful music was competing with the noise of the grill that was competing with the chatter of the guests. All of the food tasted exactly the same- bland. The prices were ridiculous. Never going there again!
I chose this restaurant because of the reviews. I, together with my relatives from out of town, were so dissappointed. Not only that the aircondition was not working on a 90 degree F- day, but the chicken tempura and beef tempura were on the dry, overcooked side. My nephew and my brother-in-law's heads looked like they just came out of the shower from sweat.
We ended up wrapping our food(exept for the soups), and enjoyed feeding the ducks at a nearby park.
On a good note, our waitress was attentive. The serving portions are bigger compared to the other local Japanese restaurant. We were not rushed out of there either, like in the other place. We had to rush on our own to a cooler temperature outside.
I will not come back here anytime soon. Maybe in the winter time. But i will call first to find out if their heating system is working.
If you are ever in the mood for Asian cuisine and Chinese food gets a bit
repeticious, you'd be foolish not to stop by The Golden Ginza Japanese
Restaurant. This excellent establishment serves the very best in authentic
Start off with a nice appetizer. We had the Yakitori, which is basically a
chicken and onion shish-kabob basted in Teriyaki and sesame seed sauce.
There are plenty of other great selections to chose from as well as green tea,
saki, Japanese wine or beer or pop to chase it down. There is also a
selection of soups and salads. Cucumber salad and miso-shiru soup usually
comes with many dinners.
For lunch, try a selection of Hibachi grill, Tempura or Teriyaki with soup,
noodles, vegetables and rice on the side. The dinner menu is similar yet a bit
more extensive. Hibachi grill is still a good staple and can be the center of
attention in one of their grill booths, where your food is expertly prepared
before you by a master
