I'm from the Northern Plains and stopped in after a long day at one of the larger local manufacturers. This is a nice place in an interesting building. The Staff was attentive, the food is good. The patio adjacent the brewhouse is a nice touch.
My only complaint is that the brew lacks a touch of balance. And really this is common in the Northeast, they tend to maltey. The ales are also bit dark, for example the Pale Ale is nearly brown, and very mild chocolate in flavor. I'm not a hop head, my home IPA is 45-50 IBU. But these brews can use just a bit more bittering. An few ounces of Magnum, Northern Brewer or Simcoe as aroma hops will go along way to making these good brews excellant.
