I WAS IN THERE TO EAT THIS PAST WEEKEND. THE BATHROOMS ARE NOT CLEAN AND THE FOOD WAS COLD. AND THE BEST YET--------I SAW TWO MICE PLAY IN THERE WHERE WE ALL WOULD BE EATTING. MY REVIEW-----STAY AWAY IT IS NOT CLEAN,
NO HOT FOOD, AND NOT SAFE,.
This place is an absolute atrocity,I've been going here since I was a child (but only because it was the only place within walking distance without crossing sunrise).
The help may seem fine if you're a regular who takes a nice 10 minute conversation up with them while a line forms behind you, but other then that I don't think you'll be pleased.
Their parlor is constantly filled with obnoxious or loud children (because hey, who else would buy their cardboard but more on that later). And their help loves to take advantage of this crowd... I know for a fact one employee (who's name I don't know unfortunately) will charge children and teens more then he will adults. How do I know this? When I was young I went in for a slice, and was charged an amount I knew was wrong but said whatever... However not two hours later I came back with my father and watched as the same guy charged him far less for the same order. And it wasn't just a one time mistake, he continued to put me at that price.
Their delivery is slow and it often arrives cold and not how you ordered it.
They will talk behind your back and treat you like crap due to rumors and gossip and lies. They take sides in personal disputes and accept whatever someone will say about you as truth... Should a business not be neutral and should your service not reflect their philosophies?
The pizza is even worse though.. It honestly tastes like cardboard. The dough is too thin and flavorless, the cheese is literally drowning in grease, and the sauce is almost nonexistent in most slices.
Their rolls might be nice (broccoli/spinach meat/cheese) if it weren't for the fact that every time I would get them the crust would (at points) be hard and crunchy, not from design, but from being burnt. They don't plan ahead and half the items on their lavished menu board that spans the side of the store like an acclaimed work of art will often take 20+ minutes to be prepared.
Finally they don't even take credit or debit, as though we're not living in the twenty first century... This place has been in business long enough to improve, but they don't. It's not like they don't get enough business as it's the only local eatery without crossing the highway at one of the worst intersections on long island or taking a long walk toward walbaums.
This pizza place features no atmosphere, no service and no seating. But if you are on the run and need
a good slice, Joe's is the place to go. The pizza is available plain or with toppings. Individual slices ...
