Seaport Diner, Port Jefferson Station

This diner was a hugh disappointment. Very nice looking outside but very aweful on food, presentation, staff attitude, and a place I will never go to again. The OJ was bad and there was no coffee refill.

We are a family of 5 who have been going out to brunch every Sunday morning at diners in the area. By far the Seaport Diner is the worse. There was a lack of wait staff. The waitress suggested we order one order of 3 eggs on a plate and share it. There is no kids menu. The waitress was huffing and puffing and complaining. The food was not cooked as requested. There was no coffee refills. Ceiling tile were missing and you can see the electric wiring hanging down. It was a horrible experience.

I was looking for a map to send my frined to go here. I read the other reviews and understood why I was recommending this place. I used to go to the hi-lite, and then was not enjoying my basic, decent diner fare as much. I moved up the road to the SeaPort, and realized that GOOD OLD PLAIN FOOD is definitely flavor enhanced by the personalities that work there. Miriam is one of the gals, but the others are fine, too! I definitely recommend enjoying the service with a smile and the steak cooked to my liking. I will sometimes order enough for two, and have tommorow's meal, because the food is fresh and tasty.

Better abviance than the Hi-Lite. Food is good, nothing great. Typical Diner experience.
