Best Meal Chinese Food, Patchogue

I wanted something good that delivers. I have been spoiled by JJ Dynasty in Oakdale..too far for delivery and I didnt feel like going to get it; but there food is amazing and authentic. I read all these good reviews and decided I'd try it. BIG MISTAKE..they should change their name to worst meal. First thing I noticed was the wretched spoiled fish smell comming from the bag. I ordered fried wonton, General TSO and Egg foo young. The wonton not only smelled strange..they tasted funny..like old oil that had been used to fry fish...what if I was allergic?? The sauce for the wonton was blood red and thick enough to paint my walls..I ate two out of pure starvation an tossed them to the side. I have a picky two year old who luckily refused all but the rice. I ate a little of both the dishes and felt sick almost instanly. The egg foo young was tasteless and the gravy was like paste. The general tso was over cooked and covered in a mass amount of sauce to disguise it's disgust. The food was terrible, I threw up and I've had stomach pain and bathroom issues all night. Threw 20 bucks worth of food in the trash and down the bowl. DO NOT DO IT to yourself. Call Dragon Pheonix

By FAR the best Chinese food in the Patchogue/Medford area. Excellent, excellent food - not hastily cooked or sloppy. Definitely the best.

Best Meal is one of the BEST chinese restaurants on the Island. I am of chinese descent, and am VERY particular about chinese cuisine. I am able to say, with confidence, that Best Meal is the closest you will get to genuine chinese food! The Beef Chow Fun is just like grandma's!! My husband also said their sushi is EXCELLENT! The staff is super friendly & they even opened their kitchen to make us some food after they had already closed for the night!! Talk about customer service at its finest!!
