The two posters above, Kelly and Alissa are exactly the selfish, my kids are the center of my universe parents you want to avoid when you go out to eat. If your rug rat is squirmy and likes to walk around, DO NOT go to a restaurant until you can learn to parent properly. No one lets a child run around an establishment where people go to relax. Try Chucky Cheese or McDees where they tolerate bad parents. I have eaten at Pumpernickels and highly rec. it. I will make it a point of going there again now that I know that idiots like these two are handled like the narcissistic princesses that they really are. Kudos Pumpernickels!!!!!!!
We went to this restaurant for my husband’s grandmother’s birthday this past weekend. She has been going to this restaurant for years so we wanted to take her there for her birthday. This is NOT a child friendly restaurant. I had my 1 year old with me, who was behaving very well, but she had dropped a handful of cheerios on the floor. The waitress had come over and handed us a broom and told us we better clean it up now. She was so nasty. When we told someone what had happened they apologized and said they had many complaints about this waitress and her rude attitude, but she was still there. I asked for the manager and he apologized but that’s it. The only way we would ever go back there is if this waitress is fired, she should NOT be working with the public. She should not be allowed to interact with people. It is a shame, we have been going there for so long, but the rudeness of this waitress ruined my night and I will not return unless she was gone.
Great German food... a fine selection of beer. Truly a great place to eat without breaking your wallet. The staff is friendly, and you never have to wait long for your meal. I make this a weekly stop when eating out. Relaxed atmoshere is great for young and old.
