MI Tierrita Restaurant, Brentwood

I love going to Mi Tierrita until my last visit. About a month ago we decided to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with friends and family. When we started to order the waiter was so horrible he wasn’t paying attention and mixed our whole order up. When the food arrived at the table we began to let him know we didn’t order certain items he throw the plate on the table and said that is what you ordered!!!! And walked away I called over another waitress who saw what was going on and proceed to help us. Don’t get me wrong I love Mi Tierrita but if they continue to keep that rude waiter they will lose customers. 2 stars for poor service!!! My daughter was upset she cried. It surprising when going for so many years on my daugters birthday to receive such horrible service!!!!

i always liked their food and still good, but my bill came out to $44.92 i paid $20cash and 24.92 on my credit card,and left a tip at the table for the waitress then i see my bank statement and they charged me again the next day $44.92 im very upset! that they did this, how dare them! i will go there this morning and speak to the owner or manager and demand my money back! so make sure you check your bank statements.....if i go there again i will only pay with cash!!!!

Love eating there. Great food, great prices. Chicken is amazing!!!

The food is DEVINE. The portions PLENTYFUL. The prices are very very REASONABLE. Be prepare to always take a doggy bag home. The only tiny negative thing about this place is when you finish eating you have to wait a long while for them to give you the bill and I wish they knew how to prepare a White Russian. They don't know what it is. In case they are reading this, here is the recipe: Heavy cream, a little vodka and Kahlua and shake, shake, shake. I recommend this place, especially if you have a large appetite and a small wallet. Enjoy!!!!!!

We have been going to Mi Tierrita since 1994, so that should say alot. We have eaten at the one in Hempstead, just as fantastic as Brentwood. Now that they have opened another one in Patchogue, well now we are in Heaven!! This one is right around the corner from us. The employees are always so freindly, the food is out of this world. The portions are plentiful. They make the best sangria's. The restaurant is always clean and beautiful!! It is our favorite restaurant. Go and try it you won't regret it!!!!!!

The food here is very good and it is always packed. You receive large portions of food that is greatly flavored. The only downside is that the service is average. Enjoy.

This is so good I'm going to get fat!!!! Take your family or your honey, but you better speak spanish!!! Naw Just Kidding , there is always someone there to help you. And the servers are cute!!!

This restaurant is really great! i love the food there, and the service is really good. if you want to go to an exquisite colombian restauirant, then go to mi Tierrita! you wont regret it.

Set in the middle of Brentwood, which is mostly Hispanic, but we felt very very comfortable. Items we didnt know were explained and items thought to be enjoyed were reccomeneded. The chicken soup is to die for!!!!!!!
