Searching for an authentic taste of the Caribbean? Head to Lorenzillo's, a family restaurant that has been serving up sumptious seafood dishes for years. Not worth what you'd pay for

Fast food place has better service than here. We paid $90/pp for dinner here to discover that both the food (yes, including lobster) and service were extremely poor. Lorenzillo must have paid the hotels in the area to advertise for them big time. I hope that you save your money to dine somewhere else better. Besides that, Cancun has left us with great memories. D or VA

Ambiance was really relaxing and beautiful. Food was the BEST!! Went to Cancun in 2003. Was my best vacation ever!! This restaurant was definitely one of the best highlights!! Loved it, and hope I can go back someday.

Do not eat at this restaurant

Service was very condescending even though we had reservations. Waiters only interest was to serve the meal and get us out, Food was mediocre at best....After surly service the WAITER DEMANDED A TIP HIGHER THAT WHAT WE GAVE HIM (Which was a good tip for what he gave us!!) VERY expensive restaurant to have a lousy meal. They scorn americans...eat elsewhere. DLM Pennsylvania

Overall it was just ok. We went twice. I would just stick to bread and dessert. The meals were nothing special. The first waiter spoke perfect english and the second one didn't speak any at all. Good: -Bread -Butter -Cheese Sticks -Creamed Spinach -Linguini -Brownie Sunday -Carrots Amazing: -The lava cake with vanilla ice cream Bad: -The Salmon -The Mahi Mahi -Sparkling Water-Every bottle was flat Fair: -Service

One of Cancun's Best

Avoid all the American knock-offs and go to a great seafood resturaunt. Stick to fresh fish and lobster, not farm raised salmon. Go to Seattle for salmon, not Cancun. The scallop appetizer was fantastic- tortilla, salsa, guacamole and scallops were delicious. The lobster is fresh and flavorable and beats the hotel served ones hands down. Waiters were attentive and American friendly with excellent language skills and the facilities are in great shape with the hurricane leaded glass window a poignant reminder of the past. Get a table on the deck for the best experience.

Awesome experience!!

We haven't been there in 3 years but after reading other reviews i thought i should give mine..i've eaten there 3 times and the food ,the ambiance the service, etc was the best!! the first time we were there we even saw a crocodile-a very large one! just an awesome experience!

Our best meal in Cancun

The Foods was wonderful, the Caesar Salad is one of the best I've ever had. The grilled shrimp and lobster were very good as well. The service was good, but not excellent. Once the meals came the service slowed down a bit. But I will surely go back and would recommend it to all.

Great food and atmosphere

The food was very good. I had salmon at dinner and it was very tasty. The side dishes were very good too, especially the spinach. We sat outside and it was a very nice atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

best lobster on earth!!!

we have been to cancun twice and ate at Lorinzillos 3 times total and it is my favorite restaurant in the world!! the atmosphere to me was wonderful, the food and service even better!! even the friendly crocodile by the bridge was awesome!! loved it and can't wait to go again!!! the lobster is the best, the scampi was great and the creamed spinich was to die for and i am not a spinich eater!!!
