the dinner is great . i have been there for over 10 years , i still love to go there either breakfast ,lunch or dinner. me , my husband and son love the diner also. sometime ,i invite my friends to have lunch over the Georgia diner. they love it.comparing other diner, Georgia diner is better most of them. thank god, 10 years passing by, i still love this diner.
I have visited Georgia Diner off and on for over 30 years and it was always a good place for a full meal or a late snack. I my favorite is the desserts.
The place is feeling it's age and service can be better and tables cleaner but they still have a parking lot and the lines are not too long doing dinner.
I would still visit the place for the daily specials.
I remember Georgia used to be good. (maybe they change management) Food has been eh or below average. Prices are ok, but food is not that great. Service is poor. I think the only reason people do go to Georgia are the few positives they do have which are location and the fact that they are open 24 hours. Otherwise, really not that great.
The Georgia Diner - open 24 hours a day serves a cup of coffee to Lobster Dinner. They are probably the best Diner in the NYC metropolitan area as their food, service and prices are excellent. This is no a rinky place that diners were known to be, but rather professionally run with lines out the door on weekends because the food is so good and give generious portions.
If you're going to be in Queens for any reason, you pretty much owe it to yourself to try this place. All of the food I've tried so far from the extensive menu is excellent, the prices are quite reasonable, the staff is always friendly, and the desserts there are well beyond my ability to describe.
