I just ordered a large pie with extra cheese and it was very nice. It's nice to get some decent pizza from a local spot. Dominos and Papa Johns taste so fake! Don't get me wrong we may order those if we're desperate but if Tony's is open we defintely order from them!
decent pizza.. expensive but i guess its worth the money.
not made by Italians being that Tony has a staff of mexicans
making the sauce.
but hey, its the only pizza restaurant in the 11212 area code besides the Dominos place but i hate that commercial pizza taste.
The pizza is GREAT...I think that it taste much better than the major pizza companies. Even when I moved out of the area, I found my way back to Tony's. The pizza slices are big too...you get more for your money! I go to Tony's anytime I have a craving for pizza. The smell alone can open up your appetite.
Tony's Pizza II (one of the oldest businesses on Rutland Road) is an okay place for a quick meal that well satisfy. The food is different for the area, since there are mostly Chinese food takeouts, Fast Food and West Indian Resturants that go up and down Rutland Road. Eventhough the pizza could be a little bit better (sometimes the bread it too hard or falls apart), the pasta they serve is excellent. The staff is friendly and they make sure you get what you order before you leave. Plus they also deliver in less than 20 mins. The only problem I have with Tony's Pizza II, are the kids that are friendly with the staff and hang out in front of the business. They block people from comming in and out freely... besdies that it's a good place to be.
