Walking into LIC Bar feels like stepping back a century, where one might tell the barkeep to leave the bottle. Located in its namesake, Long Island City, LIC bar is a great local establishment ensconced in brick and full of old wood and tin on the inside. Ideal for a casual conversation, LIC Bar is much cheaper than Manhattan. It's out of the way, but worth a visit. In the summer there's a lively patio scene, and it serves as an ideal post PS1 joint.
