If you like good food, great portions and reasonable prices , you'll like Edisons. Their soups are truly the best, each and every one of them. And if you like Fajitas, they are to die for. Huge sizzling portions and the burgers are char broiled and delicious. They have an incredible offering of delicious salads as well, in addition to daily specials. You go in expecting a casual dinner and come out stuffed.
Great food. Best burgers and wings on the island.I meet all my friends to watch the games and drink one of the thirty tap beers they offer.Giant screen tv is also high def GREAT. A great pub with great food (try the mussels)
Very disappointed with the wait staff. Had a slight issue and the waitress seemed very confused and became rude when she didn't understand. It also seems that the crowd has changed to a bunch of drunk under age kids. It was a much more pleasant environment when Steve was the owner. I will never return.
Went there after having read The Tender Bar with high expectations of friendly bar, neighborly atmosphere and congeniality.....,found none of it. Went there twice, both times the ditzy waitress/bartender was slow and had an attitude...and the second time, she was dancing around the bar, doing shots, hollering, and acting like a drunk. My bill came to $26 and I gave her 2 $20 bills...I waited for over 25 minutes for her to bring me the change---I REALLY wasn t going to give her a $14 tip-----so the next time she stumbled/danced within earshot, I asked her for my change. She came back two minutes later and THREW the change in my direction. Needless to say, I left her nothing, and I will never put my foot back into Edison s ever again. ALL the originals that are left from the Publicans days have moved down the street to Green s Irish Pub---they can t stand Edison s either.....and if you are into The Tender Bar as I was, you can often catch Cager and Fast Eddy there....both are WONDERFUL, WARM dudes! Well worth the trip to Manhasset!!
