Went over to Decostas because my friends could not stop talking about it. I walked in and the ambiance was amazing . I orderd the baked clams which were little necks(can't stand places that use big clams stuffed with who knows what), then I had veal alla nonna that my friends and waiter recomended. it was so good I never eaten that anywhere before and for dessert I had a homemade white chocalate strawberry creme brulee.I must say this was the best experiance I've had at a restaurant from food to service I will def be going back
Just left this restaurant for an early lunch, and I must say they were not kidding about the day boat Halibut. The best piece of fish I ever had. It had lots of capers & garlic with white wine. I might be coming back tonight for another order, it was that good.
WOW! 10 stars if I could
My husband and I decide to try DeCosta's to try some place new and we read the reviews already posted on local Yahoo. What a great little place. He ordered Zuppa de Pesce and I had Filet of Sole Almondine - both highly recommended. The portions are good to having to bring home a doggy-bag. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the service staff is very pleasant and attentive. The margueritas are also wonderful. I would definitely recommend DeCosta's for a nice dinner and we'll be going back.
After a vacation to Tuscany I missed the wines and cusine of the area, that is until I found Decosta's Restaurant in Yonkers, New York. The atmosphere is Tuscan themed, and the food is excellent and always fresh. An attentive wait-staff never leaves you looking for that glass re-fill or more bread request. There is a nice wine selection, many of which are from the the Chianti Classico Region. Many classic italian antipasti to choose from. Great salad with perfect dressings. Whether you choose a veal, chicken, seafood or pasta dish, you will not be dissapointed. Friendly owners, staff and atmosphere make this quaint Tuscan-styled Italian restaurant a must. Very reasonably priced. You will not be dissappointed.
Comfortable atmosphere and great food. Portions are generous and service is excellent..you never feel like your server disappeared. Seafood is always fresh and the capellini with crabmeat and shrimp is outrageous...gotta try it, if you're a fish lover. Nice place for intimate dinner dates and parties. Thumbs up!
Great food and great setting. From my table, looking out the window, I thought I was back in Toscana with rolling hills in the distance. Few Italian restaurants in this country are authentic northern Italian! Bravo!
