Venice Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bronx

OMG, I received my free iPad the other day from freeipodoffers.com I love it, it's so much fun.

MY VISIT 2 THIS PLACE WAS GREAT, IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE CHILDHOOD. I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS 2 SAY. DONT LISTEN 2 BAD REVIEWS JUDGE 4 YOURSELF,YOU WONT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very dissapointed in this resturant. I looked at all these great reviews and thought wow its worth a shot. When I walked in, the place smelled quite funky. It was dark and dreary. I am 100% and I've tasted my family recipes right from italy. This was barely ok italian imitation food. The bread was gross. The antipasta that we ordered had dressing that was just oil and had no flavor. The fried zuccini was thickly breaded, the marinara sauce was sweet and watery. The service was so inpersonal and they hovered over you. There were flies all around, the food was very greasy, dripping with grease. It was something we tried to make the best of but, big dissapointment.

I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT I LOVE VENICE,ALL THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD ARE GREAT, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO FRIENDS, FAMILY AND EVERYONE THAT WANT TO EAT GOOD ITALIAN FOOD!!

my friends worked their for years, and she took me there for dinner, and i must say they are the best next to Carmines, the service is wonderful, the food is to die for, and the atmosphere is very homey. The egg plant parm is my fvorrite with the mixed veggies....mmmmmmm good...:) try it all i've had most of their stuff and lots more to go, oh and their calamaries are so fresh they melt in your mouth..go for it Venice is worth it!!!!!

THE BEST COMBO OF PRICE AND QUALITY I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME, WITH A SIMPLE MENU THAT HAS QUITE A FEW UNEXPECTED SURPRISES TO IT, VENICE HAS A WONDERFUL OLD 60'S ITALIANO RESTAURANTE AMBIANCE, AND AUTHENTIC ENTREEES, IN THE HEART OF THE OLD SOUTH BRONX,.... AND WILL BRING BACK MEMORIES OF WHEN THE WORLD WAS A NICER PLACE, ITS SIMPLY A FIVE STAR ITALIAN RESTAURANT.

Wow! Venice leaves me speechless. The food is great. I've gone there ever since I was little. I would say this is my favorite restaurant ever. I've eaten from there like a million times. Some of my family works ther. Like, my brother, cousin, and two uncles. I wouldn't be able to survive if I can't have Venice at least twice in a week. I guess Venice hs become an addiction for me. Oh! And my family. Okay, Im going to eat some right now. LOL. I'm serious though, I got some Chicken Parmigiana in my hand right now.

i love this restaurant!!!!!chicken parmessan heroes, meatball parmigiana.....their garlic and mozzarella cheese bread is amazing no question about it! the best thing is that their sauce never never changes....it is always sweet and hearty....true italian sauce.....i wish they sold pizza by the slice since im on my own and cant eat the whole pie but it is a perfect restaurant in the heart of the south bronx...i thank you for withstanding the ups and downs of the South Bronx and maintaining your location where it is..... the best always.

Venice Restaurant is like no other restaurant. The food is excellent and in abundance. A warm setting and pleasant staff makes Venice Restaurant a secret treasure.
