Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse Incorporated
Our Staten Island location is the original Arirang Hibachi Restaurant. This location has been serving patrons for over 20 years now, and is still going strong! We offer hibachi dining rooms, with live cooking, delicious food and drinks, as well as a modern Asian tavern with a menu featuring an appealing array of sushi and Pan-Asian infused dishes like Kobe Sliders, Asian Cioppino, Saikyo Miso Chilean Sea Bass and Wasabi Crusted Filet Mignon. Arirang is perfect for any style, our "party on our grill" packages range from children's birthdays to bridal/baby showers & office get-togethers, and offer a great after work getaway with tasty appetizers and cocktail specials.
this is the worst place i ever ate at.First to start off it took 1hr 20min to get seated..second i went into the bathroom i seen a couple of mice..i will never reccomend to eat at this resturant if it was the last place on the island.
It is my first time to this restaurant. It is not what I expected, the service is terrible. From the moment I sat down, I told the waiter we need a extra plate. Until the chef came to the table for preparing the food, the plate is still not here. In addition, I have a ask three times to get a napkin and a chopstick. Also no one comes back to ask for adiitional drink. I have to call the waiter few times to get it. Overall experience is poor for such a well known restaurant. I think the management should do a better job.
I love hibachi, and everyone who knows me knows I do. I used to go to Arirang until the last few times I've had problems. They've spilled food and literally knocked my friend off his chair with a soda being spilled all over me and him and they did nothing. The next time we went to celebrate my birthday and we had a long wait at the table for the person to bring drinks. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get drinks the entire night, the show -- is not a show, he just cooked and didnt do anything special. We complained to the manager, but he didnt seem to care. So I do not go back, we go to Mizu in Tottenville, the food is better and so is the ambiance and they can cook with fire.
Arirang is a great restaurant. You can just come to eat, or have a big dinner or meal. Whenever you go, it fills you up. The food is great there, The hibachi steak and chicken are very good. Service is well, workers always walk around and ask if you need anything. Overall, Arirang is the best.
