China Club, New York

It was a little getting used to, to the environment at first but as you get your foot in the door, you feel at ease. The whole liking -- disliking is just hand in hand for a New York Wholesome Environment. Yet, the Celebrity Sightings and getting down with beautiful people, is something to be called for. Over all it was and is and will always be the best time one can have in their life. Enjoy it while is lasts. Some snooty waiters always jipp you but then you can always get even with leaving no tips. They give you attitude, you give them NOTHING. Thats how the cookie crumbles i guess. ONLY IN NEW YORK BABY, ONLY IN NEW YORK

The line outside is usually a gimmick to attract people into thinking the club is the place to be. For the china club this is a necessity. ONce you climb the stairs through the metal detectors you are embraced by true to the game rap with a standing room alone lounge affect. Venture further up the stairs and you begin to realize the significance of the club by all of the photos of the stars that have graced the VIP areas wthin the club. Into the main floor of the club you have dancers on stage, two bars and a large VIP area. Cut through the dance floor of the lasest hits to the last flight of stairs to get to heaven. The outside patio is beautiful while taking in all the bass from the Latin rythms just inside the glass where you can watch or be watched. For the total club experience in New York City China Club has it all!

A great place to go in the city. Good after work social scene.

It's the hippest trip in NYC; the coolest crowd from your A-listers to the average Joe with a dollar or two to spend, the China Club is the place to be and be seen!

This place has different floors and it operates even on Monday nights. The music is great and attracts an international crowd.

I been to china club a few times and never had a bad time there. There are always someone good performing there and if not the DJ knows how to keep the crowd on the dance floor. CC has three different rooms where you can dance upstairs to various music, on the first floor with spanish music(i.e, salsa, merrengue) or on the last floor which has a outside to swing in today's music hits. This good club to check out if your into dancing the night away. The crowd is also good drawing in various ethnicities and it doesn't cost a arm and leg to get in.

Loved it, good music, good atmosphere and if your single like me you just might get your swerve on. I loved waking up in the morning with some hungover chic I hardly knew and going back home the next day. I love NYC baby!!

My first time at China Club was 2001 which wasn't bad but last year I wnet back with a group of friends and was very disapointed in everything. The line is ridiculous as if they where giving away free stuff, then once inside the drinks are Manhattan priced but of a much smaller version. I much rather go to other places which won't make you think twoce about the price of drinks to compensate for the service, decor etc...
