John's Pizzeria is an improvement from its Greenwich Village predecessor. This Times Square location is large and spacious and includes a sweeping staircase to a second floor, bringing a new dimension to your pizza-consuming experience. Despite this extravagant setting, this brick-oven pizza has remained the same since its humble beginnings. This is New York Pizza down to its crust. Aside from the seemingly endless selection of pizza-pies, you will surely want to try some of the other menu items, including Baked Ziti, Penne alla Vodka, Eggplant Parmigiana, and of course, Spaghetti & Meatballs. Their other locations include: John's of Bleecker Street , and John's Pizzeria Eastside .
It was ok pizza. The food was alright, the service was alright, the value was alright...it was just mediocre pizza. Not worth my time when there are many better places. This location is kind of attractive though; a nice older building with interesting features.
The pizza was wonderful, but the service was HORRIBLE. I work part-time as a waitress and if I even came remotely close to providing the service we received I sincerly apologize. Our waiter took our order and the next time we saw him he was sitting at a table eating and we had to flag down someone else for more drinks, our check and anything else we would have needed. We ordered bruchetta which I do not recommend and mozzarella sticks whick I also do not recomment, they were soggy and cold. The pizza was very good but the customer service experience ruined it for me. I hope managers read this and I wish I would have gotten the guys name so I could post it.
Bruschetta was made with burnt bread but served cold. Pizza was also burnt.
Cheese on the pizza tasted like ricotta rather than mozzarella
I've had much nicer pizza from cheapo pizza joints.
the pizza here is great. really tasty but it's pretty expensive. cheaper pizza can definitely be found elsewhere. DO NOT order the garlic bread. it lacked all taste.
another problem was they do not provide refills on soda!
This cheerful trattoria serves up delicious pizza, using only the best ingredients and fresh buffalo mozzarella. Everything is baked to
order in a wood burning brick oven that is open to the eager eyes of patrons. White faux marble ...
