Description

A popular draw for tourists, this Columbia University-area Greek diner was the model for the diner on Seinfeld (the exterior is shown in the show). Thanks to the success of the show, this typical greasy spoon has managed to garner international acclaim. Good food served hot and amazingly quickly has also kept locals and the area's Columbia University students loyal. Try the milkshakes, breakfast fare, sandwiches, burgers and desserts. This place is open 24 hours from Thursday to Saturday. Please check the website for hours on other days. Cash only. Sun - Wed from 6am to 1:30pm and 24hrs Thurday, Friday, and Saturday.

Garbage Food to be honest i had roast chicken and was the worse i ever had not fit to to give my dog terrible food

I read reviews on another site and thought I would check them out. Food: The service and food was horrible; honestly Burger King hamburgers are better, you can tell by eating the burger is was previously frozen, onion rings nasty!! Service: Very bad, my waiter wasn't listening to me because he was to busy having a conversation with the waitress behind me, I had to ask for refills. I guess my waiters shift ended while I was eating. I saw him change clothes and leave, ??? I will NEVER go back again, I wish I would have gone downtown to Burger Burger off Stone. St

Many online reviewers slammed the food and service, so I didn't plan on eating there. But we were hungry so took a seat and were pleasantly surprised that everything was just fine. It was packed at noon on a Tuesday and it looked like 90% of the customers were local NYers so it's obviously a good spot. Service was topnotch and the menu has a good mix of what you expect from a diner. Food quality was fine.

I love Seinfeld, but I have to say this restaurant is not what it should be. Foods are mediocre at best. Due to the enormous popularity among tourists, this restaurant does not seem to care about the service quality. I hope the manager of this restaurant realizes its poor services and improve them. Dear tourists to NYC, take a photo, and go to one of many other decent diners in this area.

I love seinfeld! We were told not to eat just take pix, but when we got all the way up there, someone on the street said it was good, so we tried it. It was fine diner food. Its a great memory.

I am huse Seinfeld fan so I had to visit this diner. I was surprised to walk inside and discover how different it was from the show. The food and service were awesome. We were seated right away and our food was ready in no time. It was pretty cheap and tasted great. I can't wait to go back!

very mediocre nyc diner. breakfast is average at best - lunch and dinner, stay away. y local is weak - the idea that this is the best brunch in nyc is laughable...

Great Food, nice atmosphere, however the waitress's we had left something to be desired. They hurried us on ordering,never gave us water we asked for and overcharged us $19.95 for 3 milkshakes and would not adjust the bill. I guess they forgot the customer is why they get a paycheck.

Broadway Shakes

I was a Columbia student in the late 90's and ate here all the time. Why? Good size portions and great value. $5 breakfast in Manhatten!?! The greeks are fast at the grill and can be alot of fun when you sit at the counter. It wasnt on the menu last time I ate there (last year) but ask for a 'Broadway' shake its a coffee flavored delight.
