One of my best friends used to live above this place. I used to visit for weeks at a time and every time I went to Big Nick's daily. That place is awesome. Everything is always the best and I would tell anyone in the NYC area to hit it up!

This is a great place. The only problem is the 14 page menu! Seriously, there are 14 pages of food selections to choose from. It is a really cool place to go. Great food.

I always stop in at Big Nick's when I am in town. My daughter used to live across the street and it was an at least twice a week that we would stop in and have a burger. Always fresh and reasonably priced.

this is one of my favorite places love them i been going to big nicks for about three years now i remember when i live an aanother state i use to be so mad cause this is the only place you can get a good bruger at 2am

Love the pizza and burgers there....the staff is really nice and they dont take forever to make your food. Its a good place to eat at and pretty cheap...i know my bf will forever be going there : )

The best burgers in the city... period. And I'd argue probably the best burgers ANYWHERE. 100% Black Angus steakburgers served to whatever temperature you prefer. In (only, hah) about 3 or 4 dozen different topping combinations. Name a way to eat a burger and chances are it's on the menu. If not... they'll make it for you anyway. Speaking of the menu... It's a misnomer to call it a menu. It's actually a Food Novella (Seriously). How they make the breadth of things they do in that small kitchen is truly amazing. Equally so by the care and quality they put into all of their products. Gyros, chicken, pizza, pasta, steak, ostrich (yup).... oh, and BREAKFAST: Served all day long and delicious. That's not even a fraction of the menu... seriously. I couldnt possibly remember everything that's on there. If you live in NYC or are just visting, this place is truly the iconic dive. From the plastic, plushy booths... to the old pictures on the wall... to the 3 stooges running in a loop on a small b&w TV. It's quite the quintessential experience. One of the best the city offers! (And dont eat the Sumo burger.. your gut will explode... seriously)
