Vintage Bar & Restaurant, New York

Basically this is the bar that the Broadway crowd doesn't want you to know about, and when I say 'Broadway crowd' I mean the actors, dancers, etc. They all seem to flock here after the shows are over. This place is busrting with energy and laughter, and the ringleader is one of the best bartenders in town. Massive martini list that has all sorts of creations named and invented by some of the celebrity regulars that frequent the place. The food is passable, but its not overly priced (I understand that they just replaced the chef, which should lead to some improvement in this area). The decor is nothing special, but its not bad either. It is clean and well kept and I don't worry about my health when going to the bathroom (a new feeling in a Mid-Town bar!). The drinks are as reasonably priced as any other bar in Manhattan. All in all 41/2 out of 5 stars!
