started off good, ended bad

Although the ease of getting in on a Saturday night and the very nice hostesses didn't reveal what lay ahead. The service started out well, until I hit the bathrooms, they were gross, especially for what seemed to be a nice establishment with pricey food. Then, when the meals arrived, my son's spaghetti dinner, listed on the KIDS menu for a very steep $9.95 was in a kids size bowl, just spaghetti, no apple sauce, fruit, ice cream; not even a drink included. I was beyond words that something that cost not more than 20 cents to make (small amount of spaghetti and water) cost nearly $10. When I mentioned this to my waiter I was very rudely replied back that, that was it. I felt very ripped off - like $10 ripped off, so I spoke to the manager, again in a non-threatening manner, just to mention that it's an obvious obsurdity to charge so much for something that includes nothing and is obviously not expensive to make. So, I recieved a rude reply, that he couldn't do anything about it, I was told he'd talk to Chris. No mention of who Chris was. When I further asked him for Chris's number the manager threw down a business card and walked off. I can honestly say, this is the most ripped off I've ever felt. If they lowered the price or added some included cheap sides, I would have dealt, but this was beyond what I could ever accept. All this and, they messed up on my husbands fish, gave him the sandwhich instead of the meal, afterwhich they preceded to put the exact same fish on the meal-plate and sent it right out overdone.
Everyone was rude; really I thought it was known that the bad rap about NY was just that, a bad rap, guess I was wrong.
