Ellens Stardust Diner, New York

Decent food and great entertainment. My daughters and I make it a point to eat here at least once while in New York City. Always a great time.

When you're having a late night out on the town with you and your friends. this is a great place to hang out while you're trying to sober up.

I loved how the people sang and dance and the fodd was great. The line is sometimes long especially after a Broadway show gets out close by. No reservatons. Great place for family friendly fun.

Had to wait in line for quite a while, and the food was just okay. But the performance by the waiters and waitresses was awesome!

i loved it, the singing was amazing they are a group of very talented people!they madde us feel very welcome, so much so we even made a sencond trip on a three day holiday. even though they were packed they managed to fit us in. the food arrived quickley and was delicious! they involve the whole diner in their antics and you can just never get bored in there...simply impossible to ever go to a better all singing all dancing diner!

I've been to NYC twice, each time to celebrate one of my kids' 21st birthdays. We stumbled on this diner during the first trip in May 2003 and had an absolute blast. The ambiance was perfect for a girls' night on the town when you aren't into the party scene. It is a very busy place, but that's part of the fun. The waitstaff is not only musically talented, but they are professional servers too, and their enthusiasm was obvious on both fronts. Our second trip was in March 2005, when it was very cold outside, so tables near the entrance got a blast of cold air whenever someone entered or exited. Every time I hear of someone visiting NYC, I recommend that they experience Ellen's Stardust Diner, because it is part of the wonderful memories we have of our NYC trips. (It was also the only duplication of adventures between the two trips ... I made a point of creating unique experiences for each of the girls on these memory making journeys ... I guess that speaks volumes about how much fun we had!)

My boyfriend and I ate there on Monday, April 25th, and thought the world of the restaurant. We'd never been to a place as this before & with all of the entertaining waitstaff (singing, dancing, joking, and having a great time!), we felt so welcomed! It's too bad the boss was there - he would have ruined it for everyone if they all knew how he was. I am surprised no one else saw how obnoxious he was with his waitstaff. NEW BOSS PLEASE!!! Let them 'kids' do their job and ENTERTAIN. Without the rudeness of the boss, the restaurant was PERFECT! Waitstaff: GIVE YOURSELF PROPS FOR BEING SO PROFESSIONALLY ENTERTAINING!
