Caffe Cielo has been continuing the tradition of serving fine quality Italian food since 1986. The service is quick enough to stop on the way, grab a bite and move on. A must try is the spectacular Fetuccine Con Aragosta cooked in a vodka cream sauce that is sure to leave one in culinary ecstasy. Live music is played occasionally by local musicians. there are open mic nights too, where others can try their hand at vocals. The venue is perfect for a get-together with friends. The decor is casual and speaks of a friendly ambience.
First time at the new location, downstairs. Loved the rustic enoteca (wine room) informal atmosphere. Chianti was excellent, as was the Chardonnay (well chilled). Primi piatti, caprese and endives/hearts of palm, were generous and satisfying. For secondi we shared two different filet of sole dishes (one almondine, the other sauteed with capers), both very tasty. Dessert was an excellent tiramisu and doppio espresso. Pleasant music, no noisy crowd, good service, moderately priced. Highly recommend!
Horrible horrible dinner. How do you mess up barely cooked baby carrots? They tasted as if cooked in year old liquid or they were past their edible date. Very mealy snow peas. Husbands fish was inedible, covered in a salty bitter green caper monstrosity. My chicken was ok, just ok. For the price, would expect something edible. Will never return and will tell all our friends to steer clear.
Read reviews about this restaurant, all were good and I agree, the service was excellent, the food again excellent. From the moment we were greeted at the door till we left it was an excellent experience. I would highly rate this restaurant as one of the best.
Thanks for making my night in NYC one of the best.
This landmark restaurant founded in 1921 has become a Broadway legend. Sardi's is known for its theatrical clientele more than
for the cuisine, and the walls are aptly decorated with caricatures of famous stage and screen personalities. The menu ...
Grand Central Terminal is one of New York's crown jewels, and the Oyster Bar, located in the basement, is certainly
one of the high points of Grand Central. Cavernous, loud and casual, this is where New Yorkers come to ...
If you want to feel like you are in Palermo, this established cafe is definitely worth a visit. In the
heart of little Italy, the friendly staff serves Italian desserts at their best. Sit outside and enjoy tiramisu that ...
