I went to Savannah Steakhouse on 48th between Madison and 5th (closer to Madison) for lunch with my god sister last week. I was pleasantly pleased. The service was great (we were able to have lunch within an hour which is virtually unheard of in a New York restaurant), the portions were plentiful and the ambiance was fantastic. We were able to have a great intimate conversation. I would definitely recommend this stop as a place to try.
