Description

Rumor has it that chef Federic Piepenburg has trouble parting with his creations, which include beautiful gingerbread houses and luscious black forest cake. As cook and head pastry chef, he creates everything on the menu and even takes customer's orders. He is quite a sight with his tall hat and curled white beard. Brunches are substantial and include omelets and French toast and dinners are enjoyed by candlelight, making Chez Le Chef a romantic spot to visit.

This has been a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was so interesting and friendly. The food was esquisite. The Chef made us feel as if we were long lost friends. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Unbelievably great food. I felt like I was in another country eating this fine French cuisine. Fantastic environment as well. I d highly recommend to anyone.

Chicken quesadillas are my absolute favorite! I ve tried a lot of items off of their extensive menu and everything is delicious.

What a wonderful experience! Chet served us an amazing brunch that wont be forgotten! We are from Ohio and found exactly what we were looking for at Chez Le Chef; amazing food, wonderful service and a great time!

Chez Le Chef is unique in that it serves breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. Not many places around that still serve all meals as well as a brunch on the weekends. Very elegant upstairs gives a great romantic and cozy atmosphere.

My mid-day dessert and coffee was wonderful! I enjoyed sitting among the eclectic sights in the cafe; hearing the music and the wonderful hospitality! My dessert was a fabulous chocolate mousse- just made before I walked in the door. Danke!

It s great that its so quaint straight in New York City! The food was so good and tasting special, le chef is so nice:) I will be back when I come back to NYC!
