Description

Rumor has it that chef Federic Piepenburg has trouble parting with his creations, which include beautiful gingerbread houses and luscious black forest cake. As cook and head pastry chef, he creates everything on the menu and even takes customer's orders. He is quite a sight with his tall hat and curled white beard. Brunches are substantial and include omelets and French toast and dinners are enjoyed by candlelight, making Chez Le Chef a romantic spot to visit.

I had a very delicious brunch here one Saturday morning. The food was amazing and I loved the music! I definitely will be coming back with family and friends.

I can honestly say that I had the best omelet here. The service and the atmosphere was nice. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

I went here for brunch with a friend. I thought the way this place was decorated was amazing that is the whole reason we chose this place. I have to say it was great. The salmon omelet was so heavenly! Great service, I'll be back

This restaurant is one of the best that I have been to in NYC. They are very unique and very friendly. The food was good. The atmosphere was very cozy. i would definitely come back.

For our third date, I brought my girlfriend here. I am not a huge fan of french food, but she is and she loved this place. Dinner was romantic, the candles are a nice touch. We have been dating now for over 6 months, thanks for making me look so good Chef Frederic!

They have a great selection of food. I love coming for brunch.The food is fantastic and the music is wonderful. Definitely will be a frequent diner here.

I had a mini bridal shower for my sister at my apartment a few weeks ago. I was going to cook everything myself, but then realized that may be a disaster so I thought better. I ordered food and desserts from CLC. I had been once before for brunch and had a great meal. Everyone at the shower was very impressed. The food was beautiful and delicious. They also delivered and set everything up, which made my job a lot easier.

I cannot get enough of this place. The food is delicious- best brunch I have EVER gone to. The smell just walking past the place will get and keep you there.
