Description

Pastis is a French bistro located in Manhattan's meatpacking district opened by Keith McNally. Executive Chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson and Chef de Cuisine Pascal Le Seac'h prepare a menu that combines hearty Provencal dishes with moderately-priced bistro fare. The bar serves a range of house cocktails, wines by the glass, carafe or bottle, and several varieties of pastis, an anise-flavored aperitif from the south of France.

I very much enjoyed my evening at pastis. The ambiance was very european, just loud enough and the food was good. a little on the overpriced side.

They need to eliminate some of the table in the bar area so more people can enjoy the bar but overal its god food ata good price with nice people to meet and mingle with, no youngsters

They don't have a lot of outdoor seating, but what they do have is prime real estate. Good food, right in the heart of the meat packing district.

Great Happening Place

It was a great place to go and it was full. The tables were a little to close together but i really enjoyed the food and the experience, i went there 2 times in 3 days, and i would go back again.

This place is too good for words. The food is just amazing, the place is loud and always buzy ( for a reason). Dont miss out on this experience. You will surely return time and time again, salivating for the food as much as the crazy, and loud surroundings. Make sure you bring a good friend to enjoy this experience.

Good Food and Atmosphere

Pastis is great especially for lunch, but also for dinner. The always seem to have a good crowd. If your into celebrities, you can occasionally find them at Pastis.
