Pastis, New York

The food was amazing and the service was excellent!! I can't wait to go back the next time I am in New York!! We had brunch and were spoilt for choice by the delicious selection of food on the menu.

We didn't make a reservation in advance so it took as 1h15m to get a table. It was worth the wait; during the wait we walked around the meat packing district and then had a couple glasses of champange and people watched. It is loud and full of people, there seemed to be quite a few first or second dates. Great tradition french food; the french onion soup was amazing and super rich. Wines by the glass were limited but of great quality. Overall a fun experience next time I am in NY I am would go for sure.

This is yet another example of a hyped up NYC institution...nothing great about the place. Averagre food and average service. It's fun to go with a group especailly if you need a bite to eat very late in the night.

Pastis is great especially for lunch, but also for dinner. The always seem to have a good crowd. If your into celebrities, you can occasionally find them at Pastis.

food is below average and ambiance is above average on good nights, pretty good value.

A bit pricey, but the food is worth it!
