Description
This is a Tex-Mex restaurant with a theme that also doubles up as a sort of metropolitan museum of cowgirl memorabilia. There are pictures and mementos of cowgirls, rodeo stars and country singers everywhere, and a popular gift shop. This is a fun-filled family spot, but it gets rather noisy. The food is made up of fajitas, nachos, catfish, ribs, Chicken Fried Steaks, Chuck Wagon Chili, Texas Onion Loaf, Enchiladas and Chops, margaritas and "pearly gates" (pina coladas).
We all loved the place. Decor is cool. There are loads of choices for kids and adults and it's not all fried food. We loved the chicken fried chicken, Frito pie and grilled chicken salad - Yee haw and it's all tasty! Staff friendly and accomodating. we did not have the house special dessert but it looks like a baked potato and it's all ice cream. And, just minutes from Bleeker St for those non-New Yorkers. Enjoy!
"Any foreign visitors that want a taste of American eats, drag them here. After the hush-puppies, pitchers of beer or margaritas, and smothered chicken fried steak, they'll know why America is obese."
