Ate there today, during the feast. Mozzarella and tomato...mozzarella was creamy, very nice, but tomatoes were wrong variety and not ripe enough.. fried calamari was very skimpy, with NO tentacles. chicken parm was fine, talapia was fine, but only had skimpy carrot.string bean. needed potato. wine spritzers were $8.50 each. service very good. 2 people, not much food, $80.

Where do I begin!!! Tony, the Maitre d' and the staff make you feel like you are the only one in the restaurant, the food is always delicious and served at the right temperature. It doesn't matter if it's 1pm or 10 pm its always the same, I know that for a fact! If your in New york City this is a must stop on Mulberry St. Pellegrino"s has treated me and my family like family for the past 8 years.They are the BEST!!!!!! Lou F

We saw a small wait to get in here during the middle of the day and gave it a try. Loved the food. We came with Italian friends and they said the food was very authentic. Will go there again when we visit!

My husband and I make a special trip every time we come to New York. We discovered this place with friends and it has been the scene of many magical moments. Order a bottle of wine and the Lobster Sinatra and enjoy a meandering meal. The servers won't rush you and seem to take pride in their role. It's not just a meal, it's an event! By the way, the Maitre D' is absolutely phenomenal. We come once a year and he still remembers us. Makes us feel like family.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant ever. You can make a meal out of just the appetizers. My favorite are the portobello mushroom and the stuffed artichoke. No one else makes a stuffed artichoke like they do. It's a small restaurant so get there early or try and get a reservation.

I love this restaurant. The moment you walk in you get a feel family style home-cooked meals ! Very authentic. The pastas are incredible and plentiful. I tried their house special called Lobster Sinatra. The flavors are and seafood in this dish are delicious! Also try their tiramisu or cheesecake. Wow !

My boyfriend and I ate at Pellegrino's and I am so glad we stopped there, it was AMAZING. ON a Saturday night before Christmas we only waited 15 minutes at the most, the service was AMAZING the waiters were very very attentive. The food was awesome and it was decorated beautifully, I had the ravioli alla pellegrino, and my date had calamari with linguini and we shared the most delicious teramisu, I would go again in a second. And for the 2 of us, it was less than $50 and the portions were eatable. SERIOUSLY, AMAZING!!!

I loved the old world charm, the great tastes, smells, and the overall service.It made my visit to Little Italy memorable.If you've eaten good Italian food then it's a must stop. I Nicolas Buzzo recommends this as a automatic on your next visit to New York

Whenever we're in the city, we always make time for Pellegrino's. We've been dining with them since 1998. The food is superb and the staff is always attentive. It's great to dine outside, enjoy the food and take in the sights.

food,and service.the staff,i think is a key part.but the food is fresh,tasty,and just plain awsome.the best part is that you are in little italy,and knowing that you are at the best place on mulberry street would make anyone say they were at the best place.will be there on the 18th and the 20th of december.CANT WAIT.My name is Frank DiSciascio,please uses this in any review that you want.
