The place is awesome, one of favorites in NYC
Totally unique in style, decor, and, by the way, the rice pudding is to die for.
We make it to NYC ever couple of years; it is always on the most go to place to eat.
Love Love this place. And not just because rice pudding is a personal favorite, but just the IDEA that a rice-pud-only retail establishment exists and seems to thrive and does so in your city makes you happy to be a New Yorker. Sample away and pick an exotic flavor, and enjoy the Meet The Jetsons atmosphere.
Who knew rice pudding could be this tasty. I ordered the stubborn banana. Great flavor, like a good piece of banana bread. Also had a nice chewy consistency. You can tell they put a lot of thought into everything, from the menu, to the space, down to the bowls and spoons. Awesome!
I'm not a HUGE fan of rice pudding. That said, DEFINITELY visit this place and get a dollop of the Maple with Blueberries and/or Marscapone with Cherries. I'm not kidding! The tupperware you get with your purchase is very snazzy, though the price is somewhat steep. $5 for one order. $7 for a combination that can feed 2. They also ship anywhere in the USA.
