Great food no dispute. However, if you not a regular you will be treated rudely, the host is rude and stares at you when he waits for a table. Not a place for a relaxing dinner but the food is fantastic.

Atmosphere speaks for itself. The old Italian cuisine is impeccable and can be matched by none. Treated as though you are a mobster with your cumare (goo-MAHD).

Squeezed into a tiny place between a doorway and a wall--waiters and other diners having to inch their way past me. Way too many tables and chairs for the limited space. Consequently, VERY noisy which prevented conversation amongst our little group. And not a romantic place for couples, either. Prices for food were typical for NYC, but I've rarely eaten a dinner worth almost $300 for five people--and this dinner certainly wasn't. Food was OK, but portions were ridiculously large. I'd recommend an option for smaller portions at smaller prices.

Excellent red sauce; great atmosphere; a real value. The eggplant and seafood dishes were outstanding.

Although we had never been to Angelo's before we were greeted at the door like old friends and this continued throughout the evening. The service and food were exemplary and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an italian dining experience to remember.

My family and I took a trip to NY for Christmas. After an entire day of tourism we were in desperate need of food. The cab driver said Angelo's was a great place. And let me tell you... it WAS! The only negtive part was having to wait in line for about an hour (reservations aren't accepted). The owner walks around once you are inside waiting and meets you and talks with everyone. He remembers who is in what order in line. It's kind of amusing. It's really loud and very crowded. Be in the mood to be flexible. BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT!! I had the most fabulous cheese ravioli ever. Next time I am in NY I plan on going more than once!!

WE ENJOYED A LOVELY NIGHT AT LITTLE ITALY THAT WAS STARTED OFF BY EATING AT ANGELOS !!! WHAT A MEAL THE GNOCCHI WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD..AND THE VEAL CUT LIKE BUTTER..ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !! BUT DO MAKE RESERVATIONS....

We happened upon this restaurant by mistake, after getting somewhat lost and not finding the place we were originally going for dinner. What a wonderful surprise to find the food so fantastic, service to be excellent and the prices to be fair. We can't wait to go to Angelo's again on our next visit to NYC!
